To optimise the quality of glaucoma science and care through communication and cooperation among international Glaucoma Societies, with Glaucoma Industries,
Glaucoma Patient Organisations and all others in the glaucoma community.

We need the involvement of all glaucomatologists, glaucoma industrialists, glaucoma patients and other major players in the glaucoma field.
We have a shared goal: Quality of Life of the glaucoma patient.
We have a shared global responsibility, not just local, national, sales, practice etc.

The WGA will create and maintain an environment of integrity and honesty in information exchange on scientific glaucoma data.

The WGA represents the first subspecialty that aims at reaching the above mentioned goals through global all involving cooperation. This is a unique situation which offers great opportunities.
